In CDP, if I have two switches connected to each other and I do a show cdp neighbor command, I see inaccurate local and remote end ports. What could be causing this error?
For example, if I have switch A connected to switch B, both on fa0/1, what would make it SEEM like they are connected to different ports, say fa0/5?
Thanks for any explenation on this. If you have any reference docs you could point me to this would be very helpful. I am thinking this has somthing to do with UDLD.
