Trunk Between GSN3 16SW Module and Real switch….help needed

Hi All

I was wondering if it is possible to form a trunk with a 16SW switch module i am running in gsn3 on a 3640 module to my real 2960 switch ? The way i have it set up is from my 3640 16SW Module using FA0/1 to connect to a cloud(The which is configured with my DLink DGE 528T NIC) and running a cable to the real switch from my dlink network card, i set up trunk interfaces on the real switch and  and 16SW module and see messages about HELLO BPDUS on the terminal also when i configure vtp domain name and create vlans on my real switch it does pass over to my 16sw module in gsn3 as i verify this with show vlan-switch command..

Ok but my dilemma is that when i connect my laptop to the real switch on a native vlan i can ping almost everything in my topology…. however when i put the port into a different vlan on my real switch and configue the 16SW module in gns3 with a vpc in the same vlan as that of my laptop i cannot ping the vpc and the vpc cannot ping the laptop, is my nic stripping of the vlan tags ? On the dlink website it states support for 802.1q

I am bit confused on this some clarity on this matter will be much appreciated,

if you guys have doen this before please recommend a good nic

Thanks!!!!!
