i can understand the use of TCN BPDU and when it reaches the Root bridge it will set Topology change acknowledgement flag as well as Topology change flag for Forward delay + max age time…but why we need to propagate this info??? i have read to tell down stream switches to shorten there bridge table aging process frm default 300 sec to forward delay time i-e 15 secz…what does that means???
