Quick Q on IPv6 addressing

Hi Guys,

I have a very quick Q about IPv6 addressing. I was just working on auto 6to4 tunnels there and got them up and running nicely.

But I tried an address style I had read in an article somewhere.

Basically I used an IPv6 address on my 6to4 Tunnel 0 interface of ipv6 address 2002:9B01:1::/128

My question is, what is the host address of this address since it ends with ::?

Is it all 0s?

Is it the /128 mask which is allowing for this style of address?? I thought we always had to put at least 1 more value after the :: portion?

Thanks,

Ian.
