outlook ports block

Hello Everyone

 

I have a site -to- site vpn between two office do we need to open all the port from 1023 to 65536 to make outlook work means  in my branch office when the user click on the outlook to check their email they outlook is unable to connect to the exchange server so we have to redierct them from the outside to internal to make it work but they have to enter username and password every time I am waiting for expert advise in few forum they are saying to opne the port from 1023 to 65536 to make it work
