Hello All
Throughout my studies with OSPF, instructors have demonstrated the fact that this network type advertises routes as host routes, regardless of the mask configured.
My question is:
Why would you want to??
It is a loopback interface, after all and you are never going to have any more than one host on that network.
I cannot find any reason why you would need to advertise trhe full mask.
Unless I am missing something………..
