MLPPP Fragment Delay affects on FRTS Bc/Tc

I’m not quite sure where to begin here other than to say that I’m trying to wrap my arms around the affects of setting the fragment delay for a MLPPP interface on the underlying frame interface that supports it.  Of course I’m just following directions for a practice scenario, but I’m thinking there’s something wrong here.

 

Task states that the CIR is 128000, bc is 8k, be is 1k.  Then it also states to make the fragment delay on the MLPPP 8ms.

 

hummm….

 

cir 128000k with a bc of 8k makes the Tc 16ms

 

 

how is the MLPPP Fragment delay of 8ms going to be affected by a 16ms Tc for the frame interface?  or Visa versa?
