I can speak to the Security CCIE and can say that it varies wildly by individual. From what I have seen with R&S, the dedicated time requirement also varies wildly from individual to individual. I have heard stories of guys who already have a couple of IE’s under their belt, taking a few weeks and successfully writing a new IE. Others take far longer. If you are working with the topics on the blueprint on a daily basis, you have a great head start. I know this is a non-answer, answer. However, you know yourself better than anyone and would be most qualified (outside of a very close co-worker who has been through the IE process).
