Hello All,
happy new year!!!
I am receiving below error message in CRS (P Routers or Transit Router which passes all IPv4 Traffic) logs:
RP/0/RP0/CPU0:Jan 5 04:42:48.276 UAE-4: pim[317]: %ROUTING-IPV4_PIM-5-INVALID_JP : PIM invalid (*, 239.255.141.139) J/P message from 10.44.19.130 with RP address 172.16.232.254
RP address 172.16.232.254 is configured on POP (PE) device under IPTV-MVPN vrf as below:
ip pim vrf IPTV-MVPN rp-address 172.16.232.254
I am not able to understand that why i am receiving these logs in our all CRS P-Routers where this RP-Address configured in vrf
kindly find attached files of CRS logs file and PE router logs and running config file
what i need to do to prevent this?
please tell me what exactly going on in these routers?
thanks and regards,
Sourabh
