dot1x Authenication on 3550 switch

Hello All:

I was configuring the do1x via interface range command as show below and I did not see the choice for  “port-control”

560-03>enable
3560-03#config t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
3560-03(config)#interface ra
3560-03(config)#interface range fas
3560-03(config)#interface range fastEthernet 0/1 -6
3560-03(config-if-range)#dot1x ?
  default         Configure Dot1x with default values for this port
  eap             Configure EAP specific parameters
  max-reauth-req  Max No.of Reauthentication Attempts
  max-req         Max No.of Retries
  pae             Set 802.1x interface pae type
  timeout         Various Timeouts

3560-03(config-if-range)#

Then at global configutation command line I see as following

3560-03(config)#dot1
3560-03(config)#dot1x ?
  credentials          Configure 802.1X credentials profiles
  critical             Set 802.1x Critical Authentication parameters
  guest-vlan           Configure Guest Vlan and 802.1x Supplicant behavior
  system-auth-control  Enable or Disable SysAuthControl
  test                 Configure dot1x test related parameters

3560-03(config)#

The show versio command shows that I have c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE3.bin   code.

System returned to ROM by power-on
System image file is “flash:/c3550-ipservicesk9-mz.122-50.SE3.bin”

Does this image support command  “dot1x port-control auto”

Does anyone know why?
