Hi All
Its been over a year since passing my CCIE and I can now proudly say its been worth all the effort. My enjoy my job more than ever. This is mainly because I am aware of the many possible options and solutions to a wide variety of networking problems. I don't claim to know everything nor will getting your CCIE mean you will have answers to all problems. It just broaden your skill set and gives you confidence to deal with whatever is thrown at you. In my case, its Nexus VDC and OTC along with NAC appliance functionality.
Happy studies

Just for your information. As checked all those sites in internet, the only original provider is cciecert.
And all the other sites are just copied from cciecert. The most important thing is how to study & skill up personal knowledge...
In addition. passccielab, ccie2u and passccieeasy looks operated by same person. passearly and ccielabs looks also same site. passciscolab is closed already. The other 2 sites except for cciecert are running 5 sites on above table. It is a ridiculous pattern.. right? That's why I heard many times from online that cciecert is the best original source. But, the first priority is to know how to make personal skill up. And I might recommend to use the original source.

As i have an experience, most of Dump sites are fakers except cciecert, coz they are always copying cciecert after cert have released some stuff, moreover most of them also have a lot of sister site on the web
if you try to verify most of them using whois or...., you can know what i say
Don't trust them except cciecert

I completely agree. Volume 3 is absolutely full of errors. The problem is, since I know the guys who wrote it are significantly more skilled than I am, I end up working for hours on each task if I can't get it to work straight away.

The biggest issue I have with this lab is that, since we are not redistributing RIP into EIGRP on R4, how are the RIP routes behind R4 ever going to be known in EIGRP? They have to stay in RIP on R4 so that they can be passed to R5 where they are redistributed in OSPF. I then specifically raise the distance on ONLY these routes (ie not the rest of the RIP routes behind R5) so that they cannot usurp the original RIP routes that R4 is originating. This means all other RIP routes are known by R4 as OSPF and are redistributed into EIGRP. As per the next task, we then redistribute CONNECTED->EIGRP on R4 to get the directly connected networks into EIGRP.

Still, we are missing the RIP routes from R6. Now, the verification in the solution doesn't try to ping the external (ie 200.*.*.*) networks which is fair enough, but it does try to verify connectivity to the 54.*.1 network. Its therefore fair to assume that their solution actually gets this network into the other EIGRP 10 domain where R3 is. I have tried their solution though, and guess what, it doesn't!

Im slowly coming to the conclusion that this lab just doesn't work with the restriction of not redistributing RIP into EIGRP or cheating some other way. Certainly the provided solution doesn't work.

Anybody has any other suggestions, or knows that I'm completely wrong, feel free to point it out!

I have been debating on going for CCIe for some time now. For me , there is no way I will make more money as I am already making close to what the current max is for a full time top network engineer pay. So the claim of 6 figures for ccie does nothing for me.

So I have pondered on why should I bother and what is the benefit. I have 13+ years of experience and am constantly studying and trying to stay op top of technology. So my question is what would the benefit be for someone like me besides giving Cicso more money??

Not trying to knock CCIE as I know its tough to get but if there is no benefit then why fork all the cash over ?

RIP is a distance routing protocol, while OSPF EIGRP are link-state - + OSPF and EIGRP suppo VLSM, although Ripv2 can too
