CCIE Written passed

Hey there guys.

I just wanted to share my written experience with you .

I got my CCNP in february and my plan was to read Jeff doyle books (vol 1 and 2) and official exam cert guide.

After I complete those books, I took the exam yesterday and I passed.

I  m a bit disapointed because the written doesnt really reflect what a  CCIE should know. Of course I got a lot of CCIE question but some of  them were just random to me ……

Be Sure you know the protocols very well and that you feel ready for it.

Everybody told me : written is a CCNP+ exam so you can go without reading that much ……

But  the problem is that I m not a very experienced guy so I wanted to KNOW  what I was talking about. I want to know why this LSA is not present in  this router, Why this BGP router doesnt accept the update from the  neighbor using regex !!

I finished the exam with a lot of time left because for me I knew how to answer to the question without really looking at the answer … When I know something it is evident for me … Some question were also very random and I just clicked away and chosen a random answer

Anyway I m very happy and I m not building the CCIE topology to practise workbooks.

Thanks for the help on this forum :)
