BFD and OSPF timers question

Hello Serge,

 

You don’t have to change the ospf hello timer because if there is a failure BFD will trigger OSPF process before the dead-intervall (even if you are using fast-hello). And BFD requires less bandwidth that fast-hellos because the packets are smaller. Here a description of the neighbor relationship :
