address-family mdt & multicast?

Can someone help me understand the difference between the MDT and Multicast address-families in BGP, and when you would use either or? Thanks!

  4. Agreed. We address the issue by offering VLAN private networking suppo. Multicast suppo etc plus physically separated networking

  5. makes sense that multicast and broadcast addresses cannot be used in an transpo address
